Companies and groups support us in lots of creative ways

Charity of the Year – ITC Concepts

We are thrilled to be chosen once more as their charity of the year for 2018.   ITC Concepts have been supporting us since 2014 by helping us with much needed repairs at the Centre as well as providing business expertise to help progress our plans to offer Oxygen Therapy here at the Centre.   We look forward to our partnership this year, which started with a generous £1000 donation in lieu of Xmas Card and continues with Christine Evans running the Hampton Court Half Marathon in March. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ChristineEvans1 http://www.itcconcepts.co.uk/

DSYM (UK)

Our thanks go to Jogendra who organised a Yoga Day on World MS day and raised £1001 for the Centre. He was inspired to raise funds for our MS Therapy Centre as his neighbour Prabs Maisuria, who has MS, is a member here at the Centre.

KJ Desbottes

Local Solicitors KJ Desbottes have been supporting us since 2012 by asking clients to give a donation when ‘swearing an oath’ instead of charging a fee. This has been a brilliant way to raise funds for us with over £5,000 raised to date!

Sainsbury’s Purley Way

Sainsbury’s Local Charity scheme gives customers and colleagues the chance to work together to support a local cause at the heart of the community and we were working alongside the Purley Way Branch from June 2013 to June 2015. The fundraising and support has taken many forms including providing food for our Bridge Tea, allowing our volunteers to collect at the front of the store, staff coffee mornings, staff book and card sales, collection boxes on all the tills, attending our quiz night, providing all the sweets for our Christmas Knitting and Easter campaigns, selling our knitted Christmas decorations and even giving us some Christmas Decorations for the Centre in Coulsdon. With a grand total of £9704.84 raised for people with MS we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU

Wilson’s School

On a cold, wet ,windy, January day, a team 44 boys, 4 old boys and 6 staff from Wilson’s school took part in the annual Tough Guy competition. They faced huge fear climbs, freezing water, tunnels, electric shocks and deep unforgiving mud! Billed as the toughest event of its kind in the country, there is no doubt you need great reserves of mental strength as well as fitness to complete the challenge and all but two made it to the end! The amazing courage and determination shown by the team for completing such a monster of a course deserves huge respect and all in the pursuit of raising an amazing £10k for the Sutton and Croydon MS Therapy Centre. THANK YOU!

Team 3 Croydon Land RegistryLand Registry Fancy Dress

Croydon Land Registry adopted us as their charity a couple of years ago but fortunately don’t seem to want to let us go! They have not only raised nearly £2.5k so far through holding their own fundraisers (such as their Jubilee Party), got involved in selling our Easter chicks and Christmas decorations, provided us with raffle prizes, and helped out at many of our events – even entering the winning team at one of our quiz nights, despite very nearly being disqualified for having an “inappropriate” team name !
